High Color Development – Darker and More Vivid

The newly developed Uni-ball ONE ink stands out from regular gel ink by offering exceptional color richness, resulting in deeper blacks and more vivid colors. This is achieved by creating a new type of pigment, BEADS-PACK pigments, that trap and confine colorant material into particulars and increase the size of these particulars, thus effectively minimizing the paper’s absorption of the colorants. Since more pigment particulars stay on the paper’s surface, it enhances the intensity of both black and colored inks.

Beyond making writing clearer and neater, experiments conducted in collaboration with Ritsumeikan University’s College of Comprehensive Psychology found that darker ink may help improve memory of the written content.

Non-bleeding & Quick-drying

Despite more colorant remaining on the paper’s surface, Uni-ball One ink dries quickly and does not bleed through. This is achieved by adjusting the ratio of solids to liquids in the ink, allowing the liquid to be rapidly absorbed by the paper for quick drying. The colorant materials, as mentioned, stay on the surface due to their larger particle size, thus preventing bleeding.

Design Upgrade – More Stable, More Portable

Compared with ONE F, Uni-ball ONE P features a shorter and broader body, thus looking cute and stylish. ONE P wants to provide you relaxation and joy when you hold it. Plus, the “P” is short for “Pocket,” implying the body shape allows you to carry it around more conveniently.

In addition, ONE P inherits the design highlights of ONE F – using a brass stabilizer mechanism at the tip to reinforce the refill, effectively reducing tip vibration caused by friction during writing. This design also achieves a lower center of gravity, making the writing experience more effortless and smoother.

*This version of the Uni-ball ONE P features rose gold plating on the metal wire clip and tip, adding elegance and a sense of quality. Two barrel colors are available.
