G.J. Birmingham was born in the twin island Republic of Trinidad & Tobago in the Caribbean. Although being a high school Biology teacher for the past 18 years, he has been involved in singing, songwriting, acting (two short films: “Treasure” and “Fatal Choice”).
As a Poet, he placed second in the first ever spoken word poetry competition on Charles Bonnet Syndrome in 2019 in Trinidad. Since 2020, he produced versatile poetry by presenting them in video format (most of them filled with cinematic imagery and special effects) with background music; all created by him.
