Rubadiri Victor is a multi-media artist and cultural activist from Trinidad & Tobago in the West Indies. He has created an extensive magical-realist mythology that populates his paintings, plays, screenplays, short films, Mas bands, writings, and songs. As a cultural activist he has battled for the protection and curation of the various strands of his nation’s Heritage. His theatre company- the Wire Bend Folklore Theatre- stages ancestral, indigenous, and contemporary folklore combining ancient artisan crafts with modern interactive animation and multi-media. He is the creator of the ‘New Adventures of Anansi’ series of novels and the Extended Universe of products.
