Join Scribbles and Quills Limited for a truly unique evening with Dr. Savitri Rampersad, author of Steelpan Vibrations: Unlocking the Human Mind.
Dr. Rampersad’s pioneering research explores the fascinating relationship between steelpan music, cognition, emotional wellness, and neuroplasticity in adults. Her work is the first of its kind to investigate how the sounds and vibrations of the steelpan may influence the human brain and contribute to overall well-being.
During this interactive Sip & Read, guests will enjoy live steelpan demonstrations, experience some of the concepts explored in the book firsthand, and engage in meaningful discussion with the author about her groundbreaking findings and unique journey through the world of steelpan.
