Celebrating Young Storytellers: Eniath’s Prep Creative Writing Competition Awards

Written by Radeyah H. Ali

At Scribbles and Quills Limited, stories are at the heart of everything we do. That is why it was such a joy for us to be part of the Creative Writing Competition Awards hosted by Eniath’s Montessori and Prep (EMAP).

From the youngest writers in First Year to the imaginative minds of Standard 5, the competition showcased something truly special: the courage and creativity it takes to put your thoughts onto paper and share them with the world.

A Space Filled with Anticipation

On the day of the awards, the atmosphere was filled with excitement. Students were eagerly, whispering to their friends and waiting anxiously as the results were announced. You could see the anticipation on their faces — hopeful smiles, nervous laughter, and the quiet thrill that comes with waiting to hear your name called.

When the winners were finally announced, the school yard erupted in applause. Each student who stepped forward carried not only pride but also the joy of knowing their words had made an impact.

A Special Gift for Budding Writers

To celebrate these young storytellers, Scribbles and Quills Limited sponsored beautiful quill pens for the winners — first and second place students across every class, from First Year to Standard 5.

The moment the students received their quills was magical. Many held them carefully, turning them over in their hands with bright curiosity. For some, it felt like holding a piece of literary history — a reminder that great stories have always begun with a simple pen and a brave imagination.

At Scribbles and Quills Limited, we are incredibly proud to support local budding authors and add excitement and creativity to their writing journey. We hope these quills inspire the winners to continue writing, dreaming, and sharing their stories.

Encouraging the Next Generation of Writers

During the ceremony, Radeyah Ali, founder of Scribbles and Quills Limited, spoke to the students and encouraged them to keep writing.

Stories matter. Every writer begins somewhere — often in a classroom, with a simple idea and the courage to put it on paper. Competitions like this nurture those early sparks of creativity and remind young writers that their voices are valuable.

Our Commitment to Literacy

Supporting initiatives like this is an important part of Scribbles and Quills Limited’s social responsibility. Literacy, storytelling, and creativity are essential tools that empower young minds and shape confident thinkers.

We look forward to continuing to contribute to literacy development and to encouraging the writers of the future. Who knows? One of these young winners may one day return to Scribbles and Quills Limited not just as a reader — but as a published author.

And when that day comes, we will be cheering them on every step of the way.

Happy reading! ✨📚✍️
