Djennicia A. Francis is a guidance counsellor, certified mindset coach, pageant queen, performer, speech writer, and author of In the Mirror: Positive Affirmations for Children and In the Mirror: Color Me Affirmations. She is a veritable fairy whose love for books is only matched by her love for life.
After graduating with her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, she embarked on the journey that led her into education. Through this beautiful melding of worlds, she has earned certifications in Counseling Children and Youth, Self-Esteem Building, and Understanding Bullying. As a Certified Master Mindset Life Coach specializing in Cognitive Behavioral Coaching, Confidence Coaching, Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), and Emotional Intelligence Coaching, she combines psychology, creativity, and storytelling to help children develop healthy minds and resilient hearts.
With five years of classroom experience across all primary school levels and her work as a guidance counsellor, Djennicia has gained firsthand insight into the emotional, social, and developmental needs of children. This experience informs her growing Speak Peek series, a collection of books designed to teach children to master their minds so they can master their realities.
When she manages to tear herself away from her books, she trains aspiring pageant queens in public speaking, sings with her church choir at Flaming Word Ministry, serves as a Master of Ceremonies, and binge-watches Japanese anime. Believe it! Free-spirited and deeply passionate about helping children thrive, she is on a mission to help raise a resilient, imaginative, and emotionally intelligent generation…one story at a time.
