On Saturday 30th March 2024, Scribbles and Quills Limited hosted an intimate Mental Health Workshop and Book Launch for Samantha Robinson’s children’s book, Helper, A Friend to Many.
In attendance at the Mental Health Workshop were children and adults alike, who benefited from reinforcement of the value of speaking about our feelings and not bottling up how we feel. Robinson did not shy away from addressing and confronting big topics like anxiety and depression in her book which is aimed at ages 0 to 18+ with a view to advocating for mental health awareness.
Samantha Rosalie Robinson was born in England and is the youngest of seven children. She loves God and is committed to supporting the well-being of people living with mental health and mental illness, by bringing God into the conversation. She obtained her M.S.W in Clinical Social Work from (U OF T), & her BSWi from York University in Canada. Samantha is also a trained EMDR and Brain Core Therapist. Samantha resides in Ontario, Canada.
